As we begin to come together and celebrate Christmas, we all need to sit back and really appreciate the time we are able to spend with our loved ones. With the news breaking early this morning of death of Antonio Martin, yet another civilian tragically murdered by a cop, our hearts are even more saddened with the type of violence that has been taking place over the past couple of months. This holiday season should be spent realizing that our lives our taken for granted, embracing our loved ones, and silently mourning those we've lost to such senseless violence. Petty, one of the frontrunners of the hip hop scene in Nashville, dropped "I Can't Breathe", a song speaking about these crimes and coming together to solve a problem that has taken over our society once again. The song is presented with a hard-hitting look into what has occurred these past few months with examples of rallying, protests, violent outbreaks, etc and is inspired by Samuel L. Jackson's "I Can't Breathe" social media campaign. Check out the song and video below and pass it along!
